Mille Lacs Veterinary Clinic (MLVC) was founded in 1961 by Dr. Ron Hass and Dr. Richards. The two doctors bought the practice from a retiring veterinarian and started working out of their homes. They saw small animal patients in their living rooms and spent long hours traveling on farm calls.

Today, Mille Lacs Veterinary Clinic has grown into a network of three clinics—two mixed animal practices in Milaca and Foley, and Becker Veterinary Clinic, a small-animal-only facility. The staff consists of 10 well-trained and highly-qualified veterinarians and a support team of certified veterinary technicians, office staff and a practice manager.
